Airbag Lifting System

Cyntech uses a unique airbag lifting system to elevate the tank from its base to allow for remedial action.
Our system offers tremendous advantages over conventional hydraulic jacking methods, including:

Tank Cleaning

Cyntech was called upon to provide an out of service inspection of Tank #401. Temporary storage was to be installed to maintain operation of the terminal. Tank #401 was then cleaned, inspected, and minor repairs were performed. The work was completed on a reimbursable style contract and was finished on budget and ahead of schedule.

Roof Replacement

Cyntech was called upon to remove and replace the roof and rafters that had extensive corrosion. Cyntech removed the roof plate, then remove and replaced all the rafters. The new roof was partially fabricated on the ground, lifted in large sections and welded it in place. Work was completed on a lump sum contract and was finished on budget and schedule.
